Responsible use

Acceptable use policy

Rules that protect callers, customers, carriers, and the integrity of the network.

01

Lawful authority

Use only data, numbers, caller identities, and contact lists you are authorized to use. Establish the lawful purpose and basis before launching a call or campaign. Follow destination rules, carrier policies, sector requirements, calling windows, consent requirements, suppression lists, and opt-outs.

02

Identity and disclosure

Do not spoof unauthorized caller identification or deceptively impersonate a person, organization, public authority, emergency service, or trusted institution. Identify the calling organization and automated participation when required by law, policy, or reasonable caller expectation.

03

Fraud and harm

Do not use Virturing for scams, phishing, credential theft, extortion, threats, harassment, stalking, discrimination, malicious code, unlawful surveillance, trafficking, exploitation, or instructions intended to facilitate violence or serious wrongdoing.

04

Unwanted and high-volume contact

Do not send unlawful robocalls, spam, or repeated unwanted calls. Campaigns must use truthful recipient sources, documented authority, enforceable suppression lists, bounded retries, approved calling windows, and an effective opt-out path.

05

Sensitive and consequential uses

Do not make final automated decisions about diagnosis, treatment, employment, housing, education, credit, insurance, legal status, government benefits, or other consequential rights without appropriate lawful authority, qualified oversight, and meaningful human review. Do not present AI output as professional advice.

06

Children and vulnerable people

Do not target children or exploit age, disability, distress, financial hardship, or limited understanding. Workflows involving vulnerable people require a documented purpose, minimal data, careful scripts, rapid human escalation, and any legally required consent.

07

Crisis and self-harm

Do not configure an automated agent as a crisis service or a replacement for trained emergency support. A workflow that detects possible self-harm, suicide, violence, or immediate danger must stop ordinary automation, avoid harmful instructions, use a tested escalation path, and direct the person to locally appropriate emergency or crisis support. A trained human must take ownership where the deployment provides that capability.

08

Emergency services

Virturing is not an emergency communications service unless expressly agreed in writing for a supported deployment. Do not represent a workflow as a replacement for an emergency number, interfere with emergency communications, or route fabricated emergency traffic.

09

Security and platform integrity

Do not probe, bypass, disrupt, reverse engineer, overload, or gain unauthorized access to accounts, routes, media, models, tools, or infrastructure. Do not share credentials, defeat rate limits, introduce malware, scrape protected data, or use the service to attack another system.

10

Content and intellectual property

Do not process content you lack rights to use or content that unlawfully infringes privacy, confidentiality, copyright, trademark, publicity, or other rights. Do not use cloned or synthetic voices without the authority and disclosures required for that voice and use.

11

Customer controls

Maintain accurate account contacts, role-based access, scoped tools, test cases, monitoring, complaint handling, opt-out handling, incident response, and a named human owner. Keep evidence needed to demonstrate the purpose, source, authority, and configuration of regulated or high-volume workflows.

12

Enforcement and reporting

Virturing may investigate activity, request evidence, block destinations, reduce throughput, quarantine campaigns, suspend routes, preserve relevant records, or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect people, providers, or the network. Report suspected abuse to abuse@virturing.ai with the calling number, date, time, and relevant context.
