What this policy covers
Cookies and similar technologies include browser cookies, local storage, pixels, and scripts that store or read information on a device. This policy covers the public website at www.virturing.ai. The separate dashboard may use essential account and security storage described in its own interface or agreement.
Essential consent storage
The public website stores the analytics choice in local storage under virturing-privacy-consent-v1 and in the first-party cookie virturing_privacy_consent. These matching records contain the choice, policy version, update time, and expiry time so the site can remember the selection across visits and across the apex and www hostnames. They are used only to apply the visitor's privacy selection, expire after six months, and are treated as necessary storage.
Optional analytics
Google Tag Manager and connected analytics are blocked unless a visitor selects Allow analytics. When allowed, analytics may process page URL, referrer, browser and device details, approximate location derived from IP address, visit timing, and site interactions. Analytics is used to understand performance and improve navigation, not for cross-context behavioural advertising.
Rejecting analytics
Selecting Only necessary keeps optional analytics off and does not restrict access to public content. Browser Global Privacy Control signals also default optional analytics to denied. The site does not interpret continued browsing as consent.
Changing a choice
Use Privacy choices in the footer to reopen the control at any time. The website asks again after six months or when the stored policy version changes. Revoking a previous analytics choice removes accessible Google Analytics cookies and reloads the page without the analytics container. Provider-side records already created before revocation may be retained according to applicable provider and Virturing retention settings.
Browser controls
Most browsers allow people to inspect, block, or delete cookies and site storage. Blocking all storage may prevent the website from remembering the privacy choice, which means the banner can appear again. Private browsing and browser extensions may also change storage behavior.
Provider information
Optional website analytics is provided through Google Tag Manager and connected Google Analytics configuration. Google may process analytics data according to its own service terms and privacy documentation. Current website-provider information is also listed on the Subprocessors page.
Changes and questions
We will update this page when website storage, analytics providers, or consent controls materially change. Questions about website tracking can be sent to privacy@virturing.ai.
